Use the stencil flushed up against the molding (or ceiling) and apply the plaster unevenly with a spatula. Once the plaster is dry, paint the walls in the base coat color (we used a light blue color). Then re-use the stencil to apply a gold color to the molding and the plaster.			Create an interesting faux finish using a purple color and glaze mix applied with a plastic bag over the blue background and gold molding.


Remove any excess paint from the second layer to highlight and create definition in the gold molding.
